Anthropic's Grok now offers 'Automations', which let users describe a task once and have Grok run it on a schedule or when matching emails arrive; automations can include files, connectors, skills, and produce run histories. Automations are available at grok.com and in the Grok iOS and Android apps; scheduled automations are available to all users, while email triggers are included with SuperGrok.
SpaceXAI says it has released Grok 4.5, its newest model trained alongside Cursor and optimized for coding, agentic workflows, and knowledge work. The company reports training across tens of thousands of NVIDIA GB300 GPUs, claims roughly 2× token efficiency versus leading models, 80 TPS serving speed, and priced the model at $2 per million input tokens and $6 per million output tokens; Grok 4.5 is available in Grok Build, Cursor, and via the SpaceXAI console with limited free usage offered.
Grok has introduced Build Mode, a feature that generates working websites, apps, games, and interactive dashboards live within chat. Build Mode is available in Early Beta today to SuperGrok Heavy subscribers on grok.com, iOS, and Android, and allows publishing to a grok.me link or a custom domain.
Imagine Image 2.0 is now generally available as the Quality Mode on grok.com, on iOS and Android apps, and via the API as grok-imagine-image-2.0. The update emphasizes fidelity and iterative editing—including a magic wand, precise segmentation, background removal, multi-reference editing, templates for common workflows, and fills for arbitrary aspect ratios—and is ranked second on Arena’s text-to-image and image-edit leaderboards (as of Aug 7, 2026).
