Google.org backs higher-education programs to scale ethical AI readiness and student success
At the EDUCAUSE conference Google.org announced support for three higher-education initiatives: USU and APLU’s enhancement of the Urban Adult Learner Institute (integrating Grow with Google and AI lessons across 30 universities), a 15‑month USU project to collect and analyze 10 AI-enhanced community-based learning models, and Education Design Lab’s Reimagining Community Colleges work with a five-college cohort and a planned national competition in early 2027.
