Cloudflare launches beta Web Search API for AI applications
Cloudflare introduced a beta Web Search API via its AI Gateway, accessible through REST endpoints and Cloudflare Workers. The API provides unified logging, access controls, integrated billing (including providers' list prices and optional zero data retention), supports bring‑your‑own‑provider keys, and can return live web results from providers such as Ceramic.ai, Exa, and Linkup while requiring crawlers to meet Cloudflare's verified‑bot rules and include source links.
