Cloudflare open-sources Clef decision models (27B and 9B)
Cloudflare released Clef, a set of open-weight decision-focused multimodal models (27B and a lower-latency 9B “Clef-Flash”) that classify inputs and return typed outcomes with probabilities instead of generating free-form text. The models support text, JSON, images, and video, have a 64k context window, are available via Workers AI and as downloadable weights on Hugging Face, and Cloudflare plans a fine-tuning service to adapt Clef to customer workloads.
