Anthropic gives METR employee-like access to evaluate its frontier models
On Oct 15, 2026 Anthropic announced it will grant employee-like access to a team from METR, a nonprofit that evaluates frontier AI models, to assess the safety of its systems, and said it is in early discussions with several other organizations including Hugging Face. The announcement appears alongside a series of policy updates and other transparency-related posts from Anthropic.
