Bank of America assigns 4,000 people to patch vulnerabilities flagged by Anthropic’s Mythos and other AI
Bank of America said it has hired 1,000 outside contractors who have been working alongside 3,000 internal employees since Q2 to fix software vulnerabilities flagged by AI models such as Anthropic’s Mythos. CEO Brian Moynihan said the bank spent “a few hundred million dollars” in Q3 on the software work and anti-money-laundering requirements combined but did not break out patching costs separately.
