Apple discloses deal to hire Huxe AI team and license Huxe technology
Apple told the European Commission it has agreed to make employment offers to certain Huxe AI employees and to receive a non-exclusive license to Huxe’s intellectual property, according to a regulatory filing. Huxe — a personalized audio startup whose founders worked on NotebookLM (now Gemini Notebook) — announced it was shutting down on May 21; the filing does not say who accepted offers or what Apple plans to build.
