Amazon launches Alexa+ in India with Hindi support
Amazon has made its generative AI assistant Alexa+ available in India in Early Access with Hindi and English support. The company says Alexa+ can hold longer, context-aware conversations, handle multi-step tasks (including ordering via Amazon Now and controlling smart home devices), switch mid-sentence between English and Hindi, and will be free for Prime users after testing while non-Prime users would pay ₹2,000/month.
