Amazon Bedrock AgentCore runtime adds Session endpoints for live web app previews
Amazon’s Bedrock AgentCore runtime now exposes Session endpoints that give each agent session an authenticated URL which forwards HTTP(S), WebSocket and gRPC traffic to allowed ports inside the session. The capability lets coding agents run a live dev server (the blog shows a Vite example) so developers can interact with and watch changes stream into a browser without full redeploys; the SDK surfaces the URL in an X‑Amzn‑Bedrock‑AgentCore‑Runtime‑Session‑Endpoint‑Url header and requests are authenticated via SigV4 or an inbound JWT.
KEY POINTS
- Amazon’s Bedrock AgentCore runtime now exposes Session endpoints that give each agent session an authenticated URL which forwards HTTP(S), WebSocket and gRPC traffic to allowed ports inside the session.
- The capability lets coding agents run a live dev server (the blog shows a Vite example) so developers can interact with and watch changes stream into a browser without full redeploys; the SDK surfaces the URL in an X‑Amzn‑Bedrock‑AgentCore‑Runtime‑Session‑Endpoint‑Url header and requests are authenticated via SigV4 or an inbound JWT.
- This speeds developer feedback loops for agent‑driven coding by letting teams preview and interact with live builds directly from an agent session instead of redeploying each change.
