Google Gemini adds inline generation and editing for Docs, Sheets, Slides and PDFs
Google has added the ability to generate, preview and edit PDFs, Google Docs, Google Sheets, slide decks, Markdown, TXT and code files directly within the Gemini chat app. PDF previews and editing work on both web and mobile, while the other formats are currently available only in the web version; the feature is rolling out to all Gemini users starting today and supports full‑screen editing and contextual actions (e.g., highlight a table and ask Gemini to convert it into a graph).
