Eon uses Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Gateway to centralize multi-cloud MCP access
Eon implemented a centralized authenticated gateway using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore (Gateway, Runtime, Policy, Identity) to replace per-tool credentials and local MCP processes, giving engineers and autonomous agents unified access to investigation tooling across AWS, GCP, and Azure. The change reduced developer onboarding for investigation tooling from about two days to roughly two minutes and lets Eon's autonomous SRE agent (Claude on Bedrock) access the same tools with separate identities and permissions.
KEY POINTS
- Eon implemented a centralized authenticated gateway using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore (Gateway, Runtime, Policy, Identity) to replace per-tool credentials and local MCP processes, giving engineers and autonomous agents unified access to investigation tooling across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- The change reduced developer onboarding for investigation tooling from about two days to roughly two minutes and lets Eon's autonomous SRE agent (Claude on Bedrock) access the same tools with separate identities and permissions.
- This demonstrates a managed AgentCore gateway can consolidate credentials, enforce cross-account policies, and remove local MCP complexity for multi-cloud agent and human workflows, lowering operational and onboarding overhead.
WHY IT MATTERS
This demonstrates a managed AgentCore gateway can consolidate credentials, enforce cross-account policies, and remove local MCP complexity for multi-cloud agent and human workflows, lowering operational and onboarding overhead.

1This is a guest post co-written with Roei Zavida from Eon. Independent software vendors (ISVs) building AI-powered products need to connect agents and humans to dozens of operational tools across clouds, each with different authentication models, network boundaries, and access policies. When those tools span AWS, GCP, and Azure simultaneously, the integration surface multiplies. This post describes how Eon used Ama…
IskayPet’s office teams had a knowledge challenge. Answers to everyday operational questions, such as a return policy, a veterinary protocol, or an onboarding step, lived in hundreds of Microsoft SharePoint documents spread across four languages and three countries. Finding the right information in large document repositories took a long time. Every new store, country, or procedure made the problem bigger. Retrieval…
