Amazon Bedrock adds global cross-Region inference profiles for OpenAI GPT-6 models in select Asia Pacific markets
Amazon Bedrock now exposes system-defined global cross-Region inference profiles that let callers in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Taiwan invoke OpenAI GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna (and GPT-6 Astra from Singapore) via the bedrock-runtime endpoint. The profiles are callable from the source Region by passing a profile ID as the model (supporting the Converse API and OpenAI-compatible /openai/v1 paths), with billing, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and quota tracking remaining in the source Region; some Regions must be opt-in in your account.
