Rumor: Google’s Gemini may expand 'Call for Me' to personal phone calls
An APK teardown reported by Android Authority found a 'Gemini Calling' introductory screen with examples like "Call Mom and tell her I will be 15 minutes late," suggesting Google may let Gemini place brief, message-like personal calls. The teardown also revealed apparent granular app permissions for Gemini actions (including phone call permissions), but Android Authority notes Google may not publicly release this expansion or the settings.
