Meta launches Meta Enterprise Platform to sell Muse AI services to businesses
Meta is creating a new business unit, the Meta Enterprise Platform, to sell AI tools to companies; the initial lineup includes the Muse agent, Meta Business Agent, Muse API, and Muse Code. Chirantan Desai, formerly CEO of MongoDB, will lead the unit and report directly to Mark Zuckerberg; Meta hasn’t disclosed pricing or commercial details and faces competition from coding tools and low-cost open-weight models, while the Wall Street Journal reports Meta is spending over $100 billion on AI infrastructure this year.
