Crusoe scraps $1.25B deal to buy Boom Supersonic's Superpower turbines
Crusoe, a Denver-based AI data-center builder that recently raised $3.9 billion, has ended plans to buy 29 of Boom Supersonic's 42 MW Superpower turbines in a previously announced $1.25 billion launch-customer deal. Boom CEO Blake Scholl confirmed the partnership is not moving forward and Crusoe said turbines are not part of its near-term primary power mix, though Boom says other customers remain in its pipeline.
