Researchers extract Muse internals showing it builds detailed profiles of people
Security researcher Karan Joshi and others extracted Muse’s internal files and shared operating instructions with WIRED that show the assistant compiles hourly “pages” for people in a user’s life (facts, history, relationship status, suggestions). Meta says Muse runs per-user VMs, allows memory wiping, seeks confirmation for actions, and intended these files to be accessible for transparency.
