Google tests Gemini “Call for Me” — an AI that can place calls for users
Google is rolling out an experimental Gemini feature called “Call for Me” to Pixel 11 owners in the U.S. who subscribe to Gemini and use the beta Google Phone app. The AI can place calls using your phone number, share approved personal information, navigate automated menus, produce a live transcript, handle tasks like reservations or checking stock, and allow users to follow or take over the call at any time.
