Google updates Android Enterprise with Gemini-driven contextual automation, XR support and new security controls
Google announced a set of Android Enterprise updates that integrate Gemini-powered contextual automation for multi-step workflows (with work-profile isolation and admin controls), add unified management for XR devices including XREAL Aura (coming Q4) and Samsung Galaxy XR, introduce desktop mode and improved Quick Share transfers, and roll out security features such as Unified Update Controls, Feedback API for rollout telemetry, Attestable Identifiers for cryptographic device identity, and deterministic patch reporting. Many features were previewed at the Enterprise Summit and some components are slated to arrive later this year.
