YouTube adds AI ‘agent’ and expanded creator tools to optimize channels
At its creator-focused event, YouTube announced updates to its suite of AI-powered creator tools, including a background AI “agent” that monitors a creator’s catalog for trending or timely videos and suggests title/thumbnail tweaks. New features also generate thumbnails and titles from uploads, allow dynamic A/B testing of up to three thumbnails and three video versions (with automatic selection after seven days), and can compile audience data for brand pitches; YouTube declined to share performance data, saying the tools save creators time.
