Basecamp Research raises $140M to scale EDEN biological AI and Trillion Gene Atlas
Basecamp Research said it raised $140 million from investors including S32, Nvidia, Anthropic's Anthology Fund, the NATO Innovation Fund and Redalpine to develop its EDEN biological AI models and advance cell‑therapy candidates. The company trains EDEN on environmental genomic data (BaseData/Trillion Gene Atlas), reports a current dataset of ~15 trillion nucleotides and says the first EDEN generation trained on 9.7 trillion tokens, but only preclinical (mouse) results exist so far.
