Appfigures estimates Meta’s Muse outpaced ChatGPT in early mobile downloads and DAUs
Third-party analytics firm Appfigures estimates that Meta’s new AI app Muse has seen higher downloads and daily active users in its first 12 days on mobile than ChatGPT did in the same period (U.S. and Canada iOS comparison): about 1.8M vs. 1.3M iOS downloads and 642k vs. 231k U.S. mobile DAU; Muse had ~2.8M global installs in 12 days. Appfigures’ figures are estimates and Meta has not released internal numbers or detailed cross-promotion data.
