TRAI requires caller-ID apps to share user spam reports with telcos
India’s Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRAI) amended commercial-communications rules to require caller-ID and call-management apps that let users flag spam to send those reports to a blockchain-based platform run by telecom operators; Truecaller called the move anti-competitive.
