Google announced several Chrome features aimed at students, including expanding Gemini in Chrome on desktop to analyze podcasts and videos (beyond YouTube), generate interactive quizzes from tab content (rolling out in English in the U.S. and India on desktop), and new conveniences like saving full tab state when sending between devices, split view, tab groups, immersive reading, and AI read-aloud on Android.
Google Photos rolled out five feature updates: Gemini Spark prompts for one‑tap portrait selection/brightening (available to eligible Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in the U.S.), Wardrobe clothing catalog and virtual try‑on (now available to eligible Android and iOS users in the U.S., India and Brazil), Moods image styles (available on Android globally), 15 new Remix templates (rolling out on Android and on Android/iOS in select countries for users over 18), and an upgraded markup tool with a redact pen and improved controls (rolling out on Android globally).
Pinterest is launching Restyle in beta in the U.S. and Canada, a consumer feature powered by Pinterest Intelligence that lets users upload a photo of a room and use AI to add, swap, erase, or restyle furniture, decor, lighting and finishes. Pinterest says Pinterest Intelligence runs on NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs and Dynamo together with open-source models and Pinterest-built tech; Restyle was teased at the Pinterest Presents event and will roll out more broadly next month.
