Dropbox expands Riviera content-processing platform to support AI workloads
Dropbox has evolved Riviera from an internal file-preview service into a universal content-processing platform that supports 300+ file formats, 100+ transformation capabilities, and performs hundreds of thousands of transformations per second. Riviera now underpins products such as Search, Replay, Sign and Dash, exposes asynchronous public APIs (e.g., Markdown conversion, transcription, metadata extraction) for developer workflows and AI use cases (embeddings, summaries, RAG), and has external integrations like conductor-dropbox for workflow orchestration.
