Meta acquires AI coding startup Conductor
Meta has acquired Conductor, a 2024-founded AI coding startup that deploys agentic teams to spin up software projects, the startup's CEO Charlie Holtz announced and Meta confirmed to TechCrunch. Conductor said core features will keep working until early next year but its cloud service will shut down on November 20 and user cloud data will be deleted; Holtz said the team looks forward to working with Alexandr Wang and Nat Friedman at Meta's Superintelligence Labs.
