Amazon Bedrock now supports in‑country inference in India for Moonshot AI’s open-weight multimodal foundation model Kimi K3 via a dedicated India inference profile (in.moonshotai.kimi-k3), letting requests made to a source Region (e.g., ap-south-1 Mumbai) be processed in Indian destination Regions without traversing the public internet. AWS provides example code for OCR and Hinglish Q&A use cases, and customers like Ultrahuman report using the offering in production with reported cost and latency improvements.
