Apple begins beta testing 'Audio Intelligence' AI features for Apple Watch in iOS 27.3
Apple has started developer beta testing of its 'Audio Intelligence' suite for Apple Watch in the iOS 27.3 beta, introducing four opt-in features: sound recognition, song identification (via Shazam), Live Rewind, and Siri Recaps for Series 12 and Ultra 4 devices. Apple says Live Rewind shows brief text snippets of recent speech (deleted after 30 seconds unless saved) and Siri Recaps generates high-level, non‑verbatim summaries (deleted after seven days unless saved), running on the S11 chip, Apple Intelligence models on iPhone, and Apple’s Private Cloud Compute with opt-in controls and privacy safeguards.
