Nedimo: multilingual, evidence-grounded pipeline for low-arousal AI-generated sleep stories (arXiv v1)
The paper presents Nedimo, a multilingual pipeline that separates deterministic planning from LLM generation to produce low-arousal narrated sleep stories. It includes a four-phase attention taper, structural and lexical validation with bounded error-aware retries and quarantining of unresolved outputs, provider-agnostic TTS with paragraph-aware joining and two-pass loudness normalization, a publication gate enforcing loudness/true-peak limits, an evidence-to-requirement mapping, technical evaluation criteria, and a prospective protocol for testing sleep-onset effects; no clinical efficacy is claimed.
