Grok is now available as a free Microsoft 365 add-in for Excel, letting users ask questions in plain English, generate formulas from descriptions, run scenarios, and insert charts that cite the source cells. The add-in can pull context from recent emails or files in SharePoint and Google Drive, is installable from the Microsoft Marketplace, and is also available for Word and PowerPoint.
Grok is available as a free add-on for Google Workspace, installing once from the Google Workspace Marketplace to work across Sheets, Slides, and Docs. The add-on answers questions using the open file (citing cells in Sheets), writes formulas, inserts charts, reruns scenarios, converts outlines into editable presentations using web or X research, edits text in place, and — with connectors enabled — can pull from recent emails or Google Drive; Grok is also offered for Microsoft 365 apps.
