AWS large committed capacity largely sold out through 2027, Jassy says
Amazon CEO Andy Jassy said in a video podcast (reported by Reuters) that AWS’s large committed cloud capacity is largely sold out through 2027 with some 2028 already allocated, while AWS continues to reserve headroom for on‑demand EC2 and the Bedrock inference service; capacity-sold products include On‑Demand Capacity Reservations and Capacity Blocks for ML. Analysts cautioned this describes pre‑reserved, large blocks and may not reflect immediate on‑demand availability for ordinary customers.
