Zest launches SMS AI concierge that recommends restaurants and books tables
Zest introduced a personal AI-powered "restaurant concierge" accessible via text messages that uses users' dining history (imported via Plaid) to make personalized restaurant recommendations and can check availability and book tables through OpenTable, Resy, and SevenRooms; it also works in group chats with in-thread voting. The feature aims to move the app's recommendations into conversational flows and add immediate booking and ordering as revenue lines.
