Microsoft says it built the Industry Evaluation Data Generation Platform, which generates full-scale synthetic enterprise tenants (users, meetings, emails, documents, and org structures) grounded in public sources like O*NET, job postings, and SEC filings. The system includes automated query-generation pipelines and structured quality checks to evaluate Microsoft Copilot at enterprise scale while keeping real customer data isolated and removing sensitive content.
