Instagram’s Adam Mosseri warns negativity around AI will worsen as Instagram requires AI accounts to self-label
On the Colin and Samir podcast, Instagram head Adam Mosseri said public frustration and anger about AI — especially in creative industries — is increasing and ‘‘going to get worse.’’ He reiterated Instagram does not plan to ban AI content, said the platform is starting to require AI accounts to label themselves, and acknowledged problems like deepfakes and disputed ranking of AI-generated content.
