Gartner survey: only 13% of companies report major or transformative returns from AI
A Gartner survey of 2,002 CIOs and technology leaders presented at the Gartner IT Symposium found only 13% of respondents report major or transformative financial returns from AI. The survey also found 58% of CIOs are charged with delivering cost savings via AI while 51% expect AI to raise operating costs, 44% of CEOs struggle to demonstrate AI-driven financial returns, and 75% of CEOs plan to increase technology spending.
