OKA launches Mori, a home robot lamp powered by local LLMs
OKA (One Kind Artifact) unveiled Mori, a nearly 12‑inch home robot lamp that uses on‑device AI (described as multiple local large language models and branded “Attentive Intelligence”) to sense room context, react to people, play nature soundscapes, and guide short breathing exercises. The Founder’s Edition is available now for $649 (limited stock, includes two years warranty and two years of subscription); the standard edition is $799 and does not include subscription features; OKA says raw images/audio are processed locally and facial feature data is encrypted on the device.
