Anthropic debuts Claude Duet agent (research preview) built on Claude Opus 5.5
Anthropic introduced Claude Duet, an AI agent for professionals and small businesses offered as a research preview and available as a standalone iOS/Android app and via Claude on the web. Claude Duet is built on Claude Opus 5.5, can connect to apps, use memory and skills, run a virtual machine with a browser to complete tasks, and includes a new safety classifier; access is currently via a US Pro/Max subscription waitlist.
