Physicist Christopher Stubbs joins Anthropic's Long-Term Benefit Trust
Christopher Stubbs, an experimental physicist and former Harvard Dean of Science, has joined Anthropic’s Long-Term Benefit Trust as a trustee; he brings decades of expertise in observational cosmology, precision measurement, and science policy (including membership in JASON). The Trust—authorized to appoint a majority of Anthropic’s board and advise on risks and societal impacts—says Stubbs is its first physicist trustee and will help guide the company’s public-benefit mission.
