Train in simulation and deploy walking policies to Pollen Robotics' Microduck with NVIDIA Isaac Lab 3.0

A newly published tutorial demonstrates how to train bipedal walking policies for the open-source Microduck robot using NVIDIA Isaac Lab 3.0 and Newton actuator models, export the policy as ONNX, and deploy it on the physical robot. The workflow uses GPU-parallel simulation, domain randomization, Newton/BAM actuator and backlash modeling, and automatic RSL-RL playback exports so models can be shared via the Hugging Face Hub or tested in Microduck Arena.

Nvidia unveils DSX POD reference design for factory‑assembled AI data centers

At GTC Berlin Nvidia unveiled DSX POD, a DSX platform reference design that packages Vera Rubin-based systems, networking, cabling, power and liquid cooling into factory‑assembled containers. Partners (Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Schneider Electric) install and test the units so sites only need to hook them to power, cooling and network; Nvidia says this can cut setup time from six months to as little as 14 days and that its closed‑loop cooling can use up to 100% less cooling water; first units are set to ship worldwide in early 2027.
