ChatGPT Chrome extension can view and control your open tabs and adds sidebar integration
OpenAI updated the ChatGPT Chrome extension so, when you tag Chrome in the ChatGPT web or desktop app, ChatGPT can view your open browser tabs and use that information in prompts; the extension and a new sidebar integration also let ChatGPT access conversation history and perform actions like filling forms, downloading files, composing messages, and organizing tabs, including features for ChatGPT Work. OpenAI demonstrated sample prompts such as comparing items across open tabs, populating forms, and drafting emails based on tab content.
