Google's News AI pilot now includes more than 400 publications
Google says more than 400 publications worldwide are participating in its News AI pilot program, adding partners from major outlets (Axios, CNN, The Financial Times, Forbes) to local publishers. Under the licensing program Google pays participating publishers for enhanced content used to build AI-driven features such as article overviews on Google News pages and customizable audio briefings, with attribution and links to sources.
