Epic Games mandates AI-first development for unannounced Disney shooter
Bloomberg reports Epic Games has instructed developers on an unannounced Disney shooter—previously slated for March—to adopt an “AI-first” workflow, using tools like Anthropic’s Claude for code and to generate all art; Epic described the move as “embracing AI-accelerated development.” The game is part of Epic’s multiyear collaboration with Disney following Disney’s $1.5 billion investment, and Epic already uses AI in Fortnite.
