Google opened pre-orders for Fitbit Edge, a new ultra-slim fitness tracker that brings Google Health Coach to a glanceable, screen-forward device. The tracker touts up to a week of battery life, a 46% larger display than prior trackers, built-in GPS with improved accuracy, automatic recognition of up to 100 workouts via next-generation intelligence, Health Guardian metrics (blood pressure and insulin resistance trends, high/low heart rate alerts), and on-wrist ECG capabilities.
