Anthropic opens Singapore office and signs MOU with Singapore Ministry of Digital Development and Information
Anthropic opened a new Singapore office (its fifth in the Asia–Pacific) and signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Singapore Ministry of Digital Development and Information at Singapore International Cyber Week. The MOU outlines cooperation on AI safety, security, model evaluation, research on AI adoption, technical exchanges, skills-building, and responsible public- and private-sector deployment; Anthropic also highlighted local usage of Claude by organizations such as GovTech Singapore, Grab, DBS, GIC and Sea/Shopee and plans to share research including its Economic Index.
