Danu Robotics raises $5M to commercialize H.E.R.O. recycling robot
Edinburgh-based Danu Robotics, founded by Amy Ma, raised $5 million in late-seed funding as it brings its H.E.R.O. recycling-sorting robot to market. The smart arm uses a pincer claw (rather than suction) and AI-driven software updates; the company reports $500,000 in signed contracts and a sales pipeline of more than 200 potential customers targeting a roughly $20 billion European and North American sorting market.
