Anthropic pledges $150M over three years to provide Claude to US Genesis Mission agencies
Anthropic announced a $150 million commitment over three years to support the US federal Genesis Mission by making its Claude models (including Claude Code and API credits) available to more than 15 participating agencies — including DOE partners, NASA, NIH, and NSF — and by providing training and technical support for several hundred research projects. The announcement, made at the White House OSTP’s Science summit, follows Anthropic’s prior DOE collaboration and builds on initiatives like Claude Science, free/discounted seats for academics, a Model Hardware Standard research preview, and other workforce and security programs.
