Persona, a wearable personal AI startup from Cal AI founder Zach Yadegari, raises $10M
Persona, founded by 19-year-old Zach Yadegari (who sold Cal AI to MyFitnessPal), raised $10 million in a seed round led by Vine Ventures with participation from Cory Levy and Collective Global. The startup is building a button-activated personal AI assistant with a $179 wearable band (due in December), a cloud-hosted model that encrypts data in transit and at rest, a texting iMessage beta with a few thousand users, and a business model that includes sponsored shopping results.
