Healthleap raised $38 million (an $8M seed round co-led by Sequoia and First Round, and a $30M Series A led by Hummingbird) to expand its platform that uses language models and EHR data to surface inpatients who may have undiagnosed conditions such as malnutrition and delirium; the company says it’s deployed in more than 50 hospitals and sells outcome-based, bed-count contracts claiming 5x+ ROI.
