Lincoln Laboratory publishes sixth LAICS survey documenting commercial AI accelerators
Researchers at the Lincoln Laboratory Supercomputing Center (LLSC) have published the latest (sixth) Lincoln AI Computing Survey (LAICS), expanding their catalog to more than 120 commercial AI accelerators and comparing peak performance and peak power across chips, cards, and systems. The papers and accompanying public datasets track trends in architectures (CPUs, GPUs, ASICs, FPGAs, dataflow accelerators), precision choices, and transistor scaling to inform research, procurement, and system design decisions.
