Flint-interactive is a high-level language built on Flint that lets developers and AI agents specify interactive data visualizations via semantic events and update operators. It integrates with Flint Canvas, Flint-MCP and MCP Apps to emit interaction_spec alongside chart specs, route semantic events to handlers, and connect charts, documents, tables and application state.
Recursive, a startup led by Richard Socher and co‑founded by Jeff Clune, is offering Flint, an open‑weight 40‑billion‑parameter coding model the company says was largely developed and optimized by its recursive AI system called the Eureka Machine. Recursive shared benchmark claims that Flint outperforms peers on coding tasks and has raised $650 million at a $4.65 billion valuation from investors including Google Ventures, Greycroft, Nvidia, and AMD Ventures.
Microsoft Research introduced Flint, an open-source visualization language that aims to let AI agents generate expressive charts from compact, human-editable specifications, positioned as a middle path between terse chart specs and hand-crafted visualizations.
