Sean Parker and Stability AI shift focus to music with label-backed funding
Sean Parker and CEO Prem Akkaraju are repositioning Stability AI as a maker of AI tools for music professionals. In late August the company announced $76 million in funding that includes investments from Sony, Warner and Universal and licensing of their catalogs, and has released three audio models and new AI music-editing software (an update to accept humming/beatboxing is planned).
